Operation Irongate Day 2

Typical Layup

Posted on Nov 03, 2016

This is a typical layup. The Coyotes direct them to these layups that they have established along their route.  Remember, they are walking in the desert at night with no flashlights so they have a route established.

The IAs need to look like they are part of the community before they get there so they don’t stand out.  So they drop their backpacks, left over supplies, change into clean clothes and discard the dirty clothes and leave everything they’ve been carrying in the desert behind before being picked up and transported into US communities.

The damage of the discarded material to our desert wilderness is disasterous.  I’ve seen layups of more than 3,000 backpacks, clothes and trash in one place.
